3 months of delays for international arrivals

International passengers arriving at Edinburgh Airport face disruption over the next 3 months as the immigration hall is expanded. The airport handled 9 million passengers last year, of which nearly 4 million were on international flights.
Work started this week on a £2 million reconfiguration and expansion of the international arrivals hall, which will increase its size by a quarter. The redesign will improve security checks and cut queues, with the introduction of new technology.
