Previously to Edinburgh Moat House, the Best Western Capital Edinburgh Airport Hotel (which is a bit of a mouthful) is a modern, purpose built 3 star hotel located three miles from the airport and three miles from Edinburgh city centre, ideal for those who want to visit the city before they travel.
The Capital Hotel Edinburgh is popular with business and leisure travellers, the hotel has 111 bedrooms on 4 floors, with a restaurant, lounge bar and excellent leisure facilities including an indoor pool and gym. The restaurant and bar were refurbished in December 2004 and offer stunning views over the Firth of Forth.
However, an airport shuttle does not operate from this airport hotel. Transfers are by taxi, which cost around £10 each way.
